This book did not disappoint as you fall in love with the characters. I loved the cover of the book but took me awhile to realise it was two seahorses! The book was difficult to put down and the storyline pulled you in although anything set in a book shop is a winner for me. I loved Effie, as you fell in love with her flaws which were so human. The book had me in tears one minute and chuckling at others! The beauty of Effie is that she is humble whereas her best friend in the book strives for perfection but is also flawed as we all are. Meeting Theo is a turning point for Effie and it is heartbreaking that he is at peace with his condition where others struggle. Such a wonderful theme for a book which you just want to read all over again!
