I really enjoyed this book, I didn’t like the main character Effie, at first, but as the story developed, I grew to like her. Lots of life lessons in this book, which is very uplifting. I did shed a tear and I was surprising by the ending in some ways (I don’t do spoilers – you’ll have to just read it for yourself!)
It just goes to show what can happen if you let fate take it's natural route. I could imagine her at the bookshop and thought how descriptive it was.
I also like the people who owned the bookshop, another romantic story within the book, which wasn't expected.
Very easy to read and get into, left me wanting to keep reading which is ther sign of a good book to me!
