This book was really interesting and told you about all the characters and how they felt at each time. It showed you why Aslak was on the roof and why he decided to go and kill people. It also showed how his mother coped as she was near where it happened and how his sister struggled as she was in a completely different country and could do nothing to help. It got a little confusing as near the end it kept on swapping from the present time to things that had happened in the past. You could really understand the characters and how they ended up having all of these different emotions and how every thing happened. The end was a little disappointing as it was not fully explained and it could of been better.
