Amusing but not for me

As a woman in her forties I didn't feel this book was aimed at me, but I would probably have enjoyed it as a teenager. It reminds me of a modern-day Adrian Mole with a female lead. I wouldn't mind reading the rest of this, but I'm not excited by it.
