This book made me giggle quite a bit - which is no mean feat in the wee small hours of the morning. Why a 16 year old would have the number for their Doctor's Surgery saved in their phone baffles me - I'm cracking on for 50 and have to look it up when needed. Although, when you read how Grace makes the leap from a bit of a cold, a cold sore and a fake tan incident in to Leichmaniasis you begin to understand why she has it.
The voice of the narrator is strong here and the author sucks you right in to Grace's mindset and character effortlessly. I may not be the target audience for this book but it certainly seems to be a lot of fun and one that I am looking forward to reading.
