I didn’t realise it until I read the first look for You Only Live Once but this is the kind of book I think I need to read. Sometimes a light-hearted, character-driven novel is a really refreshing break from all the heavy hitters out there. Gracie seems hilarious- I think I’d really enjoy reading about her life and getting into her head-total escapism for me! Plus I’d get to relive my teenage years (which feel very long ago!). The cover also gives off this playful look with its bright colours and bold lines.
