Gracie Dart is a very studious girl. She has led a very simple and rather naive life. SHe has always had her head in her books studying for her exams. She knows that now these are over she has the future of preparing for a boring job in her already dull life to get ready for. Then comes the biggy ...she is dying of a rare tropical illness............or so she thinks. Gracie decides that she hasn't got long left to live , but boy is she going to liv. She is going to do things she has never done before, things that no-one would ever dream she would do and she doesn't care what any one thinks of her. This could leave a few red faces and a whole heap of embarrassment. In this laugh out loud book it amazed me at how Gracie was almost disappointed to find out she wasn't dying at all - great writing from the author
