Sordid Secrets of the Stars.. Increasingly Engrossing First Impression..
Wow! Despite the synopsis sounding fairly generic and the overly trendy vibe to the writing on the opening few pages, the First Impression became steadily more engrossing and it seems very apparent that Lara King has far more depth than her flimsy showbiz persona! The writing settled down and started to feel in tune with the authentic emotions of a mother whose six year old daughter has gone missing and the complicated celeb lifestyle that carries on around her.
Already a handful of characters have been introduced and Your Guilty Secret looks all set to be a web of deceit, lies and dirty secrets with no one involved left untainted by the slurs and mud slinging! At just over 300 pages this one is ramping up to be a fast and furious storm of claims, counter-claims and tarnished reputation. But will the fate of Ava be forgotten about as the frenzy ensues or will the media keep the daughter of a celebrity and her whereabouts front page news? Either way it looks like a gritty celeb shocker and the kind of case that I would be riveted by in real life with the adoring public getting (almost) every detail daily in the red tops!
